I am directed by Mr. Secretary Creech Jones to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 26th Mey regarding the report of the Hong Kong Government Commission on the fire which occurred in a tenement building on the 22nd September, 1948, and to inform you that there is no copy of the report available in this Department. The Governor of Hong Kong is, however, being asked to forward copies and one will be sent to you as soon as it is received.
